Responsibilities

Serve as a subject matter expert and internal consultant for core Workday Financials modules, including:

Financial Data Model (FDM) configuration and maintenance

Financial Accounting (journals, ledger setup, intercompany, period close)

Projects and PSA (project hierarchies, labor plans, revenue recognition)

Fixed Assets and Asset Books

Expense management and policies

Banking & Settlement (bank setup, payment processing, settlements)

Design, build, test, and maintain Workday Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports to support operational and financial reporting needs

Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting and functional requirements, translating them into scalable Workday configurations and solutions

Perform configuration activities such as custom validations, condition rules, business processes, and security updates

Troubleshoot, triage, and resolve system and data issues related to the above Workday Financials modules

Support bi-annual Workday releases by reviewing release notes, impact assessments, regression testing, and implementing relevant updates

Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Procurement, and IT stakeholders to support business processes that cross functional areas

Assist in user training and knowledge transfer, creating documentation and SOPs where necessary

Required

3+ years of hands-on experience in Workday Financials configuration and support

Proficiency with FDM, Financial Accounting, and at least two of the following: Projects, Expenses, Assets, PSA, Banking & Settlement, or Supplier Accounts

Strong experience building Workday reports (Advanced, Matrix, and Composite)

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred

Workday Pro Certification in Financials or related modules

Experience supporting Workday Financials in a multi-entity or global environment
