Responsibilities

Plan, lead, and manage routine and bridge inspections and projects

Assist with marketing new and existing clients, follow up on new business leads and help build bridge engineering services in Florida and regionally

Willingness to lead and train younger staff in the field and in the office

Required

Bachelor of Science in civil or structural engineering degree or equivalent from an ABET-accredited engineering program

Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the state of employment required; or ability to register through reciprocity

Prior bridge inspection, design, and/or load rating experience required

Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with Bentley AssetWise and AASHTOWare BrM

Comfortable working at heights

Ability to work outside regardless of weather conditions

Ability to withstand high levels of physical exertion including walking, climbing, bending, carrying, and lifting up to 30 lbs. of equipment

Ability and willingness to travel for field work; Travel requirements may be up to 100+ days per year and include out-of-state travel depending on workload

A valid driver's license with acceptable driving history is a must
