Commercial Insurance Advisor
Sovereign Insurance Group is a growing leader in the nonprofit, commercial property and casualty marketplace. They are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Advisor to generate prospects, provide insurance solutions, and support clients while deepening their specialty within the firm.

Responsibilities
Responsible for generating prospects, providing insurance solutions, and supporting the client
Create and maintain prospect lists of potential clients through warm and cold calling
Identify clients’ insurance needs, gaps in coverage, and potential premium savings
Obtain accurate information from prospects for comprehensive submissions to insurers
Maintain concern for timeliness and accuracy when interacting with clients, agency, and company personnel
Work within a team structure to help provide clients with continued support even after sales cycle is completed
Perform other duties that may be required or assigned by the supervisor
Qualification
Required
5+ years of production success in P&C insurance
Demonstrated expertise and reputation in a specific niche market (current Sovereign specialties or others)
A strong record of new business growth and client retention
Desire to take ownership of building a practice and reputation within a supportive, team-oriented environment
Entrepreneurial spirit paired with a commitment to collaboration and client service
Has a proven production track record with established client relationships
Brings recognized expertise in a niche market and the credibility to be seen as a subject matter expert
Wants to be a practice leader, not just a salesperson
