Responsibilities
Design Scalable Financial Data Solutions – Develop robust data models, pipelines, and reporting systems that drive informed decision-making across teams
Ensure Compliance & Governance – Embed “compliance by design” principles to uphold SOX standards, streamline audits, and enforce data governance
Champion Data Integrity – Establish rigorous validation and monitoring frameworks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability in financial data
Lead & Develop Talent – Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing analytics team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with Finance, Accounting, and Engineering to align data strategies with business objectives and operational needs
Leadership Communication – Presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear, impactful manner
Cross Functional Collaboration – Partnering with stakeholders and product managers to translate requirements into scalable system designs
Qualification
Required
Have a BS or MS in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field or equivalent experience and have 10+ years across analytics engineering, AI/ML, and data analytics
5+ years managing technical teams with a clear progression of impact and seniority
Strong SQL and data engineering fundamentals, including experience with Snowflake, dbt, and BI tooling (e.g., Mode, Looker, Tableau)
Experience managing large, complex data pipelines, ensuring data quality, compliance, and traceability
Experience enforcing data governance policies, including access controls, change management, and lifecycle management
Deep expertise with financial data models, accounting data structure, and business systems (e.g., Oracle, Adaptive, Workday, Salesforce)
Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to align technical and non-technical teams
Proven leadership experience in high-growth, fast-pasted environments
Preferred
Public company experience
Experience working at a high-growth tech company
Experience developing self-serve financial data platforms
Strong understanding of SOX compliance and public-company environments
