Director, Audio and Video Production
Workweek is reimagining how business leaders create, connect, and collaborate. They are seeking a Director, Audio & Video Production to lead the team responsible for their audio and video products, primarily podcasts, ensuring high-quality output and managing production resources.

Responsibilities
Lead the Audio & Video Production Team, overseeing all audio & video production (primarily podcasts) to ensure timely, high-quality output
Own production resources and schedules, managing both ongoing content (podcasts, webinars) and custom projects (special series, live recordings, product videos)
Collaborate with the Content Team to improve show formats, enhance A/V strategy, and support guest preparation with best practices and equipment guidance
Partner with the Brand Partnerships Team to deliver custom client content accurately and on schedule
Act as a player-coach, editing 1 podcast show (4-8 episodes) per month, and support additional production if/as needed, in order to deeply understand team operations and inform future hiring
Manage and grow the team, including producers, editors, and contractors, while ensuring clear communication and alignment across stakeholders
Provide weekly updates to leadership on podcast performance metrics and contractor budgets
Qualification
Required
4-7 years in audio or video production, with experience leading teams or large-scale projects — ideally, experience as a lead/managing/executive producer of a podcast show or network
Skilled in podcast and video production from concept to final edit
Proficient with industry-standard tools (Riverside, Descript, Adobe Premiere, Audition, Pro Tools, or similar)
Strong project management and communication skills; comfortable juggling multiple priorities
Collaborative leader who thrives working with creative, sales, and ops teams
Passionate about storytelling, audio quality, and elevating production standards
Hands-on “player-coach” mindset with a drive to build and scale processes as the team grows
