Responsibilities
Perform hands-on testing of anchoring products
Daily use of computer-based laboratory testing software
Create final test reports in excel format and file appropriately into database
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment (Hydraulic pumps, direct fastening tools, percussion hammer drills, commercial construction equipment, etc.)
Metallurgical testing (steel tensile and rockwell superficial/ Vickers micro hardness profiles) as well as sample preparation for tests
Concrete pour and cylinder preparation and testing
Forklift operation (on-site training available if needed)
Setup and monitoring of environmental corrosion testing
Maintain a clean, safe work environment
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience in hands-on technical atmosphere
Mechanical/technical aptitude
Enjoys getting your hands dirty
Computer literate; MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Maintain clean, safe workspace

Familiar with (but not required) applicable construction / industry technical literature including recognized standards (ASTM. ACI, ICC-ES) that govern the procedures and test requirements that must be adhered to during the testing
Previous experience within the construction industry a plus
