Responsibilities
Lead work with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall objectives
Review options, identify potential solutions and propose resolution to project risk to ensure the successful completion of projects
Partner with Product Management and Marketing teams to understand the strategic intent and work with our Program Managers and development teams to support the business scope
Utilizing Risk Management, you equip your team for known issues with potential parallel paths to allow them to address unknown risks in a way that does not impact our time to market
Track and manage project budgets
Lead key milestone deliverables and phase gate reviews
Identify and execute on continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality
Identify process gaps, solutions to those gaps and support process improvement
Communicate effectively with senior/executive leadership
Travel up to 15%
Qualification
Required
Bachelors' Degree or 10+ years of project/program management experience
5+ years' experience in project/program management role
3+ years' experience in a project/program management role managing consumer products from conceptualization through delivery, on time and on budget
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Marketing, or Industrial Design OR equivalent experience desired
Experience working with domestic and global manufacturing
Experience working with globally distributed and diverse project teams
PMP Certification, CSM or other Agile/Scrum experience is beneficial
Working understanding of regulatory requirements for safety-based product
