Responsibilities

Counsel students and families primarily in a front counter environment. Note that counseling services will also be required at times via Zoom, phone, email, etc…

Assist students and respective family with the financial assistance application process

Communicate the types of resources available and the eligibility requirements

Review and explain university costs

Track all contents on comment screen and provide pre-verification support

Perform other duties as assigned

Scan and index paperwork into database

Verify effectiveness of scan for historical purposes

Provide assistance to larger service team on communications, form enhancements, and website content

Assist in other areas as needed

Manage the Office of Financial Assistance resource center

Ensure materials are updated

Train student workers

Manage communications for visitors

Bachelor's Degree

A minimum of one (1) year professional experience in customer or student services

Preferred

Prior experience with financial assistance or student services, BANNER, and SQL

Fluency in Spanish
