Noise Control Sales Engineer/Representative
FGP is seeking a dynamic and technically savvy Sales Representative/Sales Engineer to join their client, a trusted leader in industrial noise control solutions. This role involves supporting the growth of the Noise Control division in the U.S. industrial market through strategic sales initiatives and collaboration with design and production teams.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to meet and exceed division revenue goals
Actively generate and qualify leads, focusing on industries with complex noise control and safety needs
Prepare detailed project proposals, technical specifications, and cost estimates based on customer requirements
Conduct contract reviews, support negotiations, and manage customer expectations throughout the sales cycle
Identify new business opportunities and market segments, especially those requiring operator cabins, industrial enclosures, or acoustic isolation
Build long-term relationships with clients through a consultative and solutions-based approach
Present noise control solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Coordinate closely with internal engineering, manufacturing, and installation teams for seamless project execution
Stay informed on emerging trends in noise mitigation, industrial safety, and U.S. regulatory standards
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to build awareness and generate leads
Provide detailed sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market feedback to senior management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical sciences, or business with technical experience
Preferred experience in noise control, industrial safety, or the design and configuration of operator cabins, acoustic enclosures, or similar products
Proven success in B2B technical sales within industrial sectors
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently with a high level of accountability
Knowledge of HVAC systems or industrial ventilation is an asset
Prior experience with construction or modular building projects is a plus
Based in or willing to relocate to Greenville, SC, and work full-time on-site
Willing to travel occasionally for customer visits, installations, or industry events
Candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders
