Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive energy audits and assessments to analyze current energy consumption patterns, identify inefficiencies, and develop strategies for reducing carbon emissions across various systems and processes

Design and model decarbonization solutions including renewable energy integration, energy storage, electrification, and building energy systems, to meet client sustainability goals and regulatory requirements

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate decarbonization strategies into overall building and infrastructure designs, ensuring alignment with client needs, technical feasibility, and environmental objectives

Provide technical analysis and recommendations to clients, including cost-benefit analyses, energy savings projections, and potential carbon reduction outcomes, to guide decision-making and ensure the successful implementation of decarbonization initiatives

Required

MUST be an Engineer in disciplines such as Energy, Mechanical, Electrical or Environmental

Experience working with new and existing buildings and a strong understanding on building efficiencies surrounding HVAC, Controls, Building Envelope, Decarbonization and Smart Building Technologies

Able to work in cross functional teams and work with customers to action on deliverables

Building Simulation and Design Software: Knowledge of software like Revit (with energy modeling capabilities), AutoCAD, and SketchUp for creating energy-efficient building designs and layouts

Utilizing Energy Modeling Software: Proficiency in tools such as EnergyPlus, eQUEST, TRNSYS, and IES VE for modeling energy use in buildings, systems, and processes to simulate energy-saving scenarios
