The role involves developing financial strategies, overseeing budgeting and financial reporting, and managing banking relationships to optimize cash flow.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with business goals

Provide strategic financial insights for pricing, trade lanes, procurement and expansion

Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning

Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing with accurate P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting

Implement internal controls and ensure IFRS/local GAAP compliance

Lead internal and external audits; mitigate financial and operational risks

Optimize cash flow through AR/AP management and credit control

Manage banking relationships, treasury operations, FX exposure, and liquidity planning

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or related field; CPA/CA/ACCA/CMA preferred

10+ years of finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role

Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain required

Strong knowledge of international logistics, trade compliance and customs regulations

Already gathered some experience in an international environment

Advanced proficiency in ERP/TMA systems and financial modeling

Excellent communication and organizational abilities; able to work under pressure
