New Grad, Entry LevelSMC is seeking a Power Equipment Operator to safely perform material handling tasks using powered industrial equipment. The role involves fulfilling customer orders, adhering to safety and quality standards, and maintaining compliance with operational instructions.

Responsibilities
Operate Man Up power equipment for a minimum of 75% of shift hours
Ensure respective area and equipment is compliant with 5S standards
Process all tasks associated with established customer order fulfillment standards as distributed by management
Adherence to all department work instructions
Execute basic to advanced work flow tasks on established WMS/ERP SMC systems
Report all inventory discrepancies to management
Adherence to all safety rules and regulations
Adherence to all Quality Management system standards and policies
Ability to meet established productivity and quality standards
All other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must have a valid driver's license
Must pass SMC's written and practical powered equipment certification training
Ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to effectively communicate. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language
Preferred
Prior experience in a warehouse environment desirable
Basic computer and RF Scanner skills preferred
