They are seeking an enthusiastic engineering student to join their East Region Dams Practice as a Dam Safety Engineering Summer 2026 Intern, where the successful candidate will support various dam engineering projects and gain hands-on experience in engineering and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Providing support for projects including design, analysis, inspection, construction observation, and regulatory compliance activities associated with a variety of dams

Working with multi-disciplinary teams on various projects related to dams and other hydraulic structures

Flexibility and willingness to travel for project work part time as needed

Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member

Required

Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis/interest in structural, geotechnical, or hydrologic and hydraulic engineering and must have completed at least 3 years of study

Candidates who have graduated with a Bachelor's degree and plan to continue with the Master's degree are eligible to apply for these positions

Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor's degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship

Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required for this role
