Maintenance Engineer I

Responsibilities

Complete work orders in timely manner, maintenance of buildings, and all related equipment
Monitors the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiates reordering when necessary
Maintains and repairs maintenance equipment
Communicates regularly with all maintenance technicians, both individually and as a group, to ensure good 2 way communication concerning maintenance issues
Monitors operation of plant equipment and systems
Works with Directors at MAPS facilities to coordinate vendors and inspectors to ensure city, county, state, and federal regulations relating to the maintenance department are always met

Required

Minimum 1-5 years working in building maintenance
Self-Motivating; can troubleshoot repair needs and work on tasks to completion
Complete work orders in timely manner, maintenance of buildings, and all related equipment
Monitors the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiates reordering when necessary
Maintains and repairs maintenance equipment
Communicates regularly with all maintenance technicians, both individually and as a group, to ensure good 2 way communication concerning maintenance issues
Monitors operation of plant equipment and systems
Works with Directors at MAPS facilities to coordinate vendors and inspectors to ensure city, county, state, and federal regulations relating to the maintenance department are always met
Experience and knowledge of building maintenance and use of power and hand tools
Knowledge of vehicle service needs: oil changes, wiper blades, car batteries first aid kits Etc. (where required)
High School or equivalent Diploma (GED)
Ability to drive a commercial size van
Ability to speak and write coherently
Able to lift 25 – 50lb, Bend, crouch and climb ladders
Good vision and hearing
Valid driver's license
Must be cleared by PAR auto insurance carrier to operate PAR vehicles
Must pass level II background and drug screen
Must maintain current training as required by Operation PAR, Inc. policies

9 paid holidays per year
3 weeks of PTO per year (on top of holidays). PTO increases to 4 weeks/year after 2 years of employment, and then to 5 weeks/year after 5 years of employment.
