The Quality Engineering Intern will interact with senior quality engineers, focusing on problem solving and process improvements while gaining exposure to production processes and supporting various functional groups.

Responsibilities

Interacting directly with senior level quality engineers working directly on problem solving and process improvements

Presenting information

Writing reports and process instructions

Data mining

Developing control plans and KPI's for internal and external customers

Providing support to various functional groups

Qualification

Required

The successful applicant will be pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Demonstrated problem solving experience and a technical aptitude

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Experience with MSOffice (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Eligibility Requirement: This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government. Additionally, as a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants selected could be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Preferred

SPC and Geometric Tolerancing (GD&T) experience a plus

Experience with database manipulation and mining (Excel/Power BI) nice to have
