Data Visualization and Graphics Editor
Dow Jones & Company is seeking an experienced Data Visualization and Graphics Editor for Barron’s to creatively guide and develop data stories and graphics across all platforms. The role involves sourcing, analyzing, and reporting on compelling data stories related to the economy, markets, and investing, while collaborating with newsroom members to enhance visual storytelling capabilities.

Responsibilities
Have a proven track record of turning data into compelling stories
Be comfortable working with and sourcing a wide range of data sets–from financial, to investigative, to economic
Pitch data-driven stories and graphics as well as partner with other reporters and the homepage team to craft one-off graphics
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of data journalism experience in a newsroom
Strong portfolio of visually and editorially compelling graphics
Comfortable working in Excel/Google Sheets
Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
