Responsibilities
Define the AI Privacy Strategy: Lead the long-term vision for Tonic Textual, identifying how to protect sensitive data across the entire AI lifecycle, from data ingestion and cleaning to vector database protection and RAG enrichment
Architect the Unstructured Roadmap: Own the high-level roadmap for proprietary NER models, custom entity training workflows, and sophisticated "AI-ready" data outputs that maintain context while ensuring 100% privacy
Enable Enterprise-Scale AI: Deeply understand the complex architectural needs of AI Engineers building RAG systems at scale. You will build features that turn massive, messy document stores into structured, safe, and metadata-enriched assets
Drive Category Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert both internally and externally. You will work with the executive team to position Tonic Textual as a foundational component of the modern AI stack
Champion "Model-Based" Innovation: Drive the development of advanced self-serve tools that allow enterprise users to train and deploy tailored entity-detection models, effectively democratizing data science for privacy teams
Strategic Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Engineering and Research teams to push the boundaries of what's possible in synthesis and redaction, while collaborating with Sales and Marketing to unlock complex, highly-regulated enterprise accounts
Qualification
Required
5-8+ years of Product Management experience (leveling will be commensurate with experience) in high-growth B2B SaaS, specifically within AI/ML, Data Infrastructure, or Developer Tools

Proven Scale-Up Experience: You have a track record of taking complex, technical products from initial traction to market-leading scale. You thrive in the 'messy middle,' where you must refine product-market fit, evolve pricing models, and establish category leadership in a rapidly shifting landscape
Strategic Storytelling: Ability to communicate a compelling vision for the future of AI privacy to C-level executives at Fortune 500 companies and to the industry at large
Analytical & Technical Rigor: You are comfortable digging into model performance metrics, API design, and SDK usability to ensure a world-class developer experience
