New Grad, Entry LevelEmpire Netting and Fence is seeking an experienced Powder Coater to join their team at Hot Kote. The role involves knowledge in all aspects of prep and application, requiring detail-oriented individuals who take pride in their work and are motivated to learn and improve their skills.
Construction
Responsibilities
Lift at least 50lbs
Work and communicate effectively with others
Work in a non-air-conditioned environment
Tolerate standing on concrete for extended time periods
Exercise spatial skills
Willingness to learn operations of other departments (washing and powder coating)
Recognize quality control issues
Packaging of completed materials
Operate a forklift
Operate basic shop machinery
Practice appropriate safety skills
Consistent work hours
Be on time
Keep work areas and tolls clean
Qualification
Required
Prior experience in a shop floor laborer role is preferred
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Reliable transportation to and from work
A strong work ethic
The ability to read, write, and communicate in English
The mindset to work independently and as part of a team
Comfort lifting up to 50 lbs and working on concrete floors
The willingness to work Monday–Friday, with overtime when needed
Preferred
Experience in powder coating is a plus
