Responsibilities
Automate the creation and upkeep of data platforms to ensure optimal performance and security
Provide primary support for implementing, upgrading, and maintaining data platform environments
Collaborate with data engineers and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
Ensure adherence to security standards in partnership with IS&T Security Management
Analyze future capacity needs and develop tools to address potential challenges
Qualification
Required
Strong experience with DevOps and deploying services in Azure public cloud
Proficiency in provisioning infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible
Excellent problem-solving abilities and technical documentation skills
Comprehensive understanding of LAN and WAN networks
Flexibility to work outside standard business hours, including on-call rotation participation
Preferred
Experience with relational and No-SQL databases, Databricks, and Synapse
Familiarity with Azure CLI and configuring Azure Monitoring
Experience working in agile/scrum teams and administering Oracle or Microsoft SQL Databases
Azure cloud certifications and experience setting up HIPAA compliant cloud services
