Responsibilities

Set strategic and tactical direction and priority for this cross-functional agile team to ensure solutions are in alignment with Program business goals as well as PW & RTX’s digital vision and Enterprise Architecture
Collaborate with a wide variety of Subject Matter Experts and Stakeholders across multiple engine programs and DT to refine scope, understand requirements and deliverables, and to drive compliance with RTX guidelines for authorized solution deployment (Architecture Review Board (ARB), Authority to Operate (ATO), CLARA, etc.)
Write, and lead team through refinement of Features and User Stories in Jira to guide, prioritize, and track the team’s work
Ensure awareness and alignment across executives from the multiple impacted Military Engines and the Digital Technologies organization
Support team members in the communication of software status, issues, risks, and opportunities to audiences including team leadership, Program leadership, and digital communities
Partner with the PW S4 Hana team to understand and support what they are developing to ensure what they develop and what you develop has seamless integration

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 10 years of computer science, software engineering, or program management experience; or an Advanced Degree with 7 years of experience
A minimum of 5 years' experience with software engineering, DevOps, or generating digital solutions
A minimum of 5 years' experience leading agile teams or teams of teams
Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship

Preferred

Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and IT / DT department on multi-disciplinary issues
Proficiency using Jira and Confluence as effective project management tools
Previous experience guiding teams to generate outcome-oriented objectives then decompose them into the pieces of work that must be delivered to produce value
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills to document and communicate software engineering approaches, and a proven ability to influence others to accept practices and approaches
Qualified as an RTX CORE Champion or higher
