Start in 2026 SummerThe Contemporary American Theater Festival at Shepherd University is a leading producer of contemporary plays, dedicated to telling diverse stories and developing new American theater. They are seeking a Projections and Video Intern to assist in the realization of projection design for shows, working closely with Projection Designers and Engineers.

Responsibilities
Assist in the realization of the projection design for 1-2 shows, often in separate venues
Assist Projection/Media Engineers with system setups and maintenance, as required
Assigned as the projection operators in a particular venue during and after tech
Work closely with the Projection Designers and Engineers to execute the designs accurately
Assist with changeovers and system maintenance as necessary during the run
Assist with the live streaming of events and performances
Qualification
Required
Some experience with projector setup and control
Comfort with working at heights up to 25' in lifts
Ability to lift/carry 50lbs
Preferred
Introductory experience with Qlab or other projection software and video transport methods
