Responsibilities
Lead category strategy and insight development for National and key strategic customers
Identify retailer-specific opportunities in assortment, space, pricing, and promotion
Serve as the category advisor for select National Accounts
Build retailer-ready narratives that drive category growth and improve brand performance
Collaborate with Sales, RGM, Shopper, and Commercial Planning to build aligned customer strategies
Support JBPs, customer business reviews, and channel planning with category-led recommendations
Analyze category and shopper trends, competitive performance, and retailer dynamics
Build dashboards, tools, and insight resources that elevate commercial planning
Qualification
Required
5-7+ years of experience in Category Development, Category Management, Shopper Insights, or a related CPG commercial role
Extensive experience with syndicated data (Circana/IRI, NielsenIQ) and retailer platforms (Luminate, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to influence retail buyers and cross-functional stakeholders
Bachelor's degree required (Business, Marketing, Analytics preferred)
Excellent presentation and storytelling skills
Strong analytical capability and ability to simplify complex insights
Ability to travel 30-50% for customer meetings and internal planning cycles
