Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of onboarding and training programs for all Food & Beverage (F&B) staff at the Georgia Center
Develop engaging, hands-on training modules that promote skill development and service excellence
Collaborate with the Human Resources team to onboard full-time, temporary, and student employees within the F&B Division
Ensure timely enrollment of new hires in the timeclock system and coordinate employment offers, start dates, and pay rate changes
Partner with F&B leadership to establish and uphold consistent service standards across all departments
Evaluate training effectiveness regularly and implement improvements to enhance staff performance and guest satisfaction
Align training initiatives with operational and financial goals to support overall business objectives
Provide guidance and supervision to HFIM (Hospitality, Food, and Institutional Management) interns working within the F&B Division
Coordinate with Outlet, Banquet, Catering, and Kitchen teams to ensure interns gain comprehensive experience across all service areas
Work closely with the Director of Sales & Event Management and the HR Manager to facilitate internship placements and schedules
Offer operational support to various F&B departments during peak service periods or as needed
Collaborate with Outlet, Banquet, Catering, and Kitchen teams to maintain service continuity and quality
Other duties as assigned to support the Assistant Director and Director of Food & Beverage at the Georgia Center for Continuing Education & Hotel

Required

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent
Ability to multitask and prioritize accordingly
Strong skills with Microsoft Word and Excel

Excellent work standards exhibiting accuracy and timeliness
Strong customer service skills
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Provide confidentiality and security related to sensitive information
Ability to learn new software
Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and adapt to on-going changes within the Food & Beverage Division
