NEOGOV is seeking an Accounting/Fiscal Manager II to join their Department of Administration's Office of Administrative Services. This role involves overseeing fiscal year-end reporting, managing the Accounts Payable Department, and providing strategic financial support for agency migrations and special projects.

Responsibilities
Oversee the timely and accurate preparation and completion of all fiscal year-end reporting packages for Admin and our Shared Services agencies
Provide financial/general accounting support for shared services agencies
Manage master data and conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide strategic support for agency migrations in mergers and splits
Provide guidance and support to the Accounts Payable Department to ensure all actions and reports are processed in compliance and efficiency
Develop complex financial reports for each agency and monitor to ensure data integrity
Lead and support staff through coaching, training, and performance development. Streamline workflows while implementing management policies and organizational initiatives. Foster a positive, team focused environment
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration or finance
Experience in professional level accounting, auditing or financial management with five (5) years of government finance experience
Extensive knowledge of the State's fiscal policies and procedures
Knowledge of the principles, practices and theories of accounting, auditing, budgeting or financial management
Must be computer literate
Ability to interpret and analyze complex financial management programs and convey financial or budgeting information verbally and in writing
Ability to set priorities, plan and organize tasks under limited time frames
Ability to collect and communicate information in a clear, concise manner
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff members and with other office staff
Preferred
Certification of Government Finance Officers Association of South Carolina or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
