Senior Communications Lead
ANSER enhances national and homeland security by strengthening public institutions. They are seeking a Strategic Communication Lead to plan, implement, and manage comprehensive communication strategies for JPEO-CBRND, ensuring alignment across DoD organizations and supporting senior leadership outreach.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic communication plans for JPEO-CBRND
Write speeches, talking points, video scripts, and outreach materials
Plan and manage conferences, ceremonies, and stakeholder events
Conduct communication gap analyses and implement synchronization plans
Coordinate messaging across multiple DoD entities
Review and edit executive correspondence and publications
Develop monthly deliverables including speeches, letters, and awards
Mentor staff on communication best practices
Provide counsel to senior leaders on engagement and public affairs
Support up to 11 CONUS trips annually for events and coordination
Qualification
Required
Active Secret Security Clearance
Bachelor's Degree in Business Communications and a Master's degree in communications
8 + years of experience working in a federal or DoD CBRND organization with at least 5 years supporting a 2-start level command
Experience supporting senior executive service strategy communication, planning, implementation, analysis, and outreach activities for a DoD acquisition program
Demonstrated expertise in workforce communications and engagement
