Responsibilities

Develop and optimize RTL for performance, power, and area, ensuring compliance with security standards and protocols
Collaborate with architecture, verification, and physical design teams to deliver high-quality, production-ready IP
Drive design reviews and provide technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers and influencing best practices across the team
Analyze and resolve complex design challenges, including timing closure, power optimization, and security hardening
Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions for custom silicon
Design and implement security IP blocks for custom compute solutions, including cryptographic accelerators, secure boot, and hardware root-of-trust
Stay current with emerging security technologies and standards, applying them to Marvell’s next-generation compute platforms

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 10+ years of related professional experience OR Master's degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 5+ years of experience
Strong understanding of SoC architecture, processor cores, memory and peripheral interfaces through hands on prior experience
Proficiency in Verilog/SystemVerilog and familiarity with industry-standard EDA tools for design
Experience with low-power design techniques, clock-domain crossing, and design-for-test (DFT)
Proven ability to lead complex design projects, mentor team members, and collaborate across functional teams
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment

Preferred

Experience with security IP design, including cryptographic algorithms (AES, RSA, ECC), secure boot, and hardware root-of-trust a plus
