Associate Director of Recruitment
Northwestern Mutual is seeking an Associate Director of Recruitment to enhance their recruitment processes. The role involves managing candidate relationships, overseeing the selection and onboarding processes, and analyzing recruitment activities to improve efficiency.
Responsibilities
Review resumes and schedule initial interviews
Utilize digital platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, and job boards for sourcing
Manage relationships and communication with candidates throughout the selection process
Own the selection process, including screening candidates, conducting initial interviews, administering screening tools, and guiding candidates through each stage
Build and nurture effective referral networks within the office, with community advocates, and from various other sources to generate qualified leads
Actively participate in community clubs and organizations to enhance office and company branding
Coordinate advertising and marketing strategies, including social media, flyers, and local events
Collaborate with other Northwestern Mutual recruiters to exchange leads and best practices
Coordinate initial onboarding schedules with candidates
Oversee pre-contract training requirements for candidates
Partner with the Network Office Director of Talent on onboarding to ensure successful enrollment in the National Training Program
Report weekly recruiting activities to the leadership team
Develop proficiency in using home office-supported software to maintain candidate databases and ensure efficient record-keeping during the selection process
Assist in coordinating leadership team meetings and preparing activity/results reports
Analyze recruiting ratios to identify inefficiencies in the selection process and implement improvements
May include oversight of contract and licensing responsibilities
Qualification
Required
Experience in sourcing, branding, and selection processes
Ability to review resumes and schedule initial interviews
Proficiency in utilizing digital platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, and job boards for sourcing
Strong communication skills to manage relationships with candidates throughout the selection process
Experience in owning the selection process, including screening candidates and conducting initial interviews
Ability to administer screening tools and guide candidates through each stage of the selection process
Experience in building and nurturing effective referral networks
Active participation in community clubs and organizations for branding purposes
Experience in coordinating advertising and marketing strategies, including social media and local events
