Responsibilities

Develop HVAC system layouts, ductwork and piping plans, and equipment selections for new and existing facilities
Prepare schematic design and construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit
Conduct site surveys and assist in documenting existing mechanical systems
Perform HVAC load calculations, ventilation calculations, and system sizing
Collaborate closely with in-house architectural, electrical, structural, and civil teams to ensure fully coordinated designs
Work under the guidance of senior mechanical engineers to translate conceptual designs into buildable systems
Participate in QA/QC reviews and incorporate feedback into deliverables
Support the production of specifications and equipment schedules

Qualification

AutoCADRevitHVAC design experienceHVAC design standardsMicrosoft OfficeOrganizational skillsCommunication skillsTeam collaboration

Required

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required
Minimum 3 years of mechanical/HVAC design experience
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment

Preferred

Classes in HVAC or related field is a plus
Familiarity with HVAC design standards (ASHRAE, ANSI) is a plus
