Responsibilities
Manage all phases of litigations in state and federal courts from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motion practice
Represent clients and practice group with skill, ethics, and confidence before courts, mediators, and arbitrators
Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with practice group colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders
Develop and implement strategies to achieve favorable and cost-effective resolutions for clients in both litigation and transactional matters
Ability to use creativity and flexibility to adapt to and succeed in difficult and changing circumstances
Engage in marketing and networking opportunities to cultivate the practice group’s client base
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience with significant experience litigating in the federal and state courts of both New York and New Jersey
Must be licensed in NY & NJ
Experience with surety, construction litigation, and/or insurance coverage matters
