Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals focused on US GAAP compliance and technical accounting

Proactively monitor, review and interpret US GAAP and analyze emerging accounting pronouncements for policy and financial statement implications

Provide guidance on complex accounting issues, including revenue recognition, leases, derivatives, and business combinations

Manage valuation activities for stock-based compensation, goodwill, and intangible assets

Oversee purchase accounting for acquisitions and ensure compliance with US GAAP during integration

Coordinate annual U.S. GAAP audit and support foreign audits, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables

Develop and maintain global financial policies and procedures in partnership with Finance leadership

Drive accounting and compliance process improvement through automation and technology adoption

Partnering with Accounting & Compliance, assess and implement risk and compliance frameworks, including documentation and software solutions for controls management

Collaborate with organizational leaders to promote best practices and mitigate enterprise risk

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA required

8+ years of experience in public accounting and/or corporate technical accounting roles

4+ years of leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional projects

Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and technical accounting research

Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
