SW Regional Clean Boating Coordinator – Lee County
University of Florida is seeking a SW Regional Clean Boating Coordinator to provide technical assistance and support for boating educational programs. The role involves working with various stakeholders to promote clean boating practices and managing data related to the No Discharge Zone initiative.

Responsibilities
Provide technical assistance to marinas
Respond to facilities that have expressed interest in or applied for CVA grant funds to field questions related to the installation, repair and/or operation of sewage disposal equipment and/or for the Clean Marina Program
Provide support for boating educational programs
Work proactively with UF/Sea Grant CVA Education Coordinator, local stakeholder groups, other agencies, and non-profits to develop coordinated efforts for boater outreach
Provide data collection support for maintaining both the Pumpout Nav app and the state pumpout inventory for the No Discharge Zone initiative
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Valid Florida driver's license required
Preferred
Familiarity with marinas and boating
Experience conducting informal education or outreach
