Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and communicate daily production schedules to meet customer requirements
Coordinate with Customer Service to prioritize and expedite key customer orders
Manage raw material inventory levels from procurement through consumption
Oversee material flow and usage to minimize waste and optimize efficiency
Monitor and control Work-in-Process (WIP) and Finished Goods inventory
Apply Lean principles, including Kanban, within the value stream to streamline operations
Drive initiatives to reduce manufacturing lead times and improve overall throughput
Utilize key metrics and Lean tools to engage employees in continuous improvement efforts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree OR 2 years of manufacturing experience in lieu of a degree
Ability to analyze production schedules for optimal production throughput for the manufacturing lines in the plant
Ability to review data and use Excel
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and make quick decisions
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of Lean standard work concepts and their application to manufacturing activities
Working knowledge of SAP for product management
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
Experience with production scheduling
Experience in Customer Service
Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
