Intuitive Machines is an innovative and cutting-edge space company making cislunar space accessible to both public and private customers. We are seeking a Ground Stations Engineering Intern to join our technical team, supporting the development and testing of a commercial Telemetry, Tracking and Control (TT&C) network of ground stations.

Responsibilities

Assist in development and execution of test plans for ground station hardware
Assist in the development of real-time operations products, including procedures, asset schedules, troubleshooting documentation and Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
Work with internal and external stakeholders to integrate ground software and network automation
Participate in Integration & Verification activities

Required

Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related field
Basic understanding of ground stations, satellite communication, or networking protocols is a plus
Analytical and troubleshooting skills
Strong enthusiasm for space exploration and communication systems
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Preferred

Program or coursework around ground stations in university or in another setting
Programming skills or familiarity with some of the cross functional disciplines such as avionics, radio frequency, etc
