New Grad, Entry LevelDavid Joseph & Company is seeking a qualified Structural Designer based in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Boise. In this role, you will work on various building and construction types, performing engineering-related work during planning, design, and construction administration phases of projects.

Responsibilities
Performs standard engineering analysis and design for basic structural elements with guidance from a Project Engineer or Project Manager
Assist Project Engineers and Project Managers with analysis and design of more advanced structural elements and components
Coordinate with BIM staff on development of construction documents
Contractor assistance with interpretation of construction documents and resolution of field issues
Review shop drawings
Qualification
Required
Engineer in Training (EIT) or Engineering Intern (EI) certification
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
Ability to perform structural analysis using conventional hand-calculation methods and software
Familiarity with current building codes and adopted standards
Positive and professional attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with co-workers and clients in person or virtually
U.S. Citizen, U.S. Resident with a valid green card, or legally authorized to work in the U.S
Preferred
Working knowledge of current industry software, including ETABS, SAP, RAM Structural System, RAM Concept, RISA, SAFE, AutoCAD, Revit
