Superior Environmental Solutions (SES) is a leading provider of industrial and environmental services throughout the Midwest. They are looking for a safety-focused Traveling Field Technician/ General Labor to join their team, responsible for ensuring health and safety, operating equipment, and assisting with job site setup and teardown.

Responsibilities

Will travel out of town for a week+ at a time

Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority

Work with designated company representatives to learn and understand all safety, operational, and company rules, regulations, and responsibilities

Hands-on operation of manual and automated hydro-blasting equipment and vac-truck operation

Assist in the setup and tear down of the job site

Perform all work as directed by the supervisor or leadership personnel

Required

Current TWIC® (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) card holder, or ability to obtain one prior to employment

Must have reliable transportation

Must be safety conscious and have a good work ethic

Must be able to work varied hours and on an on-call basis and travel as required

Ensure equipment and company property are maintained in proper condition

Must be able to pass a pre-employment, random, and or post-accident/injury substance abuse screening

Use of respirators (including fit testing) may be required based on specific customer needs to meet project safety requirements

We require all Team Members to complete a drug free screening prior to employment and may be subject to random and incident screenings

Follow and distinguish emergency signals and instructions

Ability to move/lift up to 50 lbs

Must be able to repetitively lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and crawl

Must be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, cold, dusty, and wet conditions for extended periods of time

Must be able to work in confined spaces and tight quarters

Be able to wear protective clothing and equipment such as respirators, safety glasses, approved steel-toe shoes, coveralls, and hearing protection

Must be able to climb ladders, and work from stationary platforms at elevated heights

Must be capable of working extended hours and variable shifts

Preferred

A driver's license and a clean driving record are strongly preferred
