Information Technology Support Technician
Magellan Financial & Insurance Services, Inc. is a fast-growing partner to independent financial advisors nationwide. They are seeking an Information Technology Support Technician who will serve as the on-site first responder for IT issues, handling troubleshooting, hardware repairs, and office build-outs while gaining mentorship in enterprise networking and security.
Responsibilities
Handle Windows 10/11 troubleshooting and hardware repairs
Manage physical office build-outs including cable management and desk setups
Report directly to the Technical Support Analyst
Provide on-site support for internal team
Respond to support tickets with patience and urgency
Qualification
Required
Reliable daily commute to Topeka, KS
Demonstrated passion for IT (home labs, PC building, amateur radio, etc.)
Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 troubleshooting and basic hardware repair (RAM/SSD)
Understanding of basic networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP)
Preferred
1-2 years of help desk experience or relevant trade school/certifications
