Proactive Support Engineer

Konica Minolta Business Solutions is seeking a Proactive Support Engineer to provide remote technical support for Microsoft-based business environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in helpdesk or network administration, focusing on troubleshooting and managing Windows operating systems and Active Directory.

Responsibilities

Network Administration tasks (tasks include server health checks, backup and restore testing, antivirus and antimalware updates, operating system builds and patches, Windows and firmware updates.)
Complete SafetyNet monitoring changes
Remote management platform maintenance
You should have skills or working knowledge in several Workstation Operating Systems
Network Operating Systems
Understanding of Microsoft products, third party utilities, local and wide-area networks, hardware, and desktop operating systems
Must have inherent troubleshooting skills - the ability to isolate problems and their source quickly through logical deduction
Experience with remote management systems desirable
Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Active Directory
Industry certifications

Required

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three years related experience and/or training
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Possess inherent troubleshooting skills
Desire to 'do what it takes' to solve technical challenges
Practical, hands on technical experience is a must
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Demonstration of excellent customer service skills
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situation to clients and other employees of the organization via phone and in person

Preferred

Real world experience in either a helpdesk or network administration position
Good understanding of Windows workstation and server operating systems
Application installation and troubleshooting
Active Directory administration and management
Skills or working knowledge in several Workstation Operating Systems
Network Operating Systems
Understanding of Microsoft products, third party utilities, local and wide-area networks, hardware, and desktop operating systems
Experience with remote management systems desirable
Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Active Directory
