New Grad, Entry LevelThe University of Northern Iowa is seeking a temporary Tutor for the Educational Talent Search Cedar Rapids program for the spring 2026 semester. This role involves providing virtual tutoring services to middle and high school students in various subjects based on their needs.

Responsibilities
Provides tutoring services (virtual) to middle and high school students who attend six schools in the Cedar Rapids Community School District in the subject areas of Math, Science, English/Language Arts, Foreign Language and other areas based on student's needs
Qualification
Required
Must be a highly motivated individual capable of working independently with minimal supervision, knowledgeable, open-minded, and friendly
Must have excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
Must possess leadership skills and be self-motivated
Must possess critical thinking/problem solving skills
Must be flexible, trustworthy, and have the physical ability to fully participate in all program activities
Must be accountable with a strong attendance record
Preferred
Prefer an individual with experience working with youth of low-income and first-generation backgrounds and skill levels
