Responsibilities
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment
Provide solutions when repeated problems and equipment deficiencies occur
Perform preventative maintenance in accordance with PM specifications and applicable safety procedures
Thoroughly and accurately document corrective actions of equipment problems and repairs performed
Work on assignments that may be routine, semi-routine, or highly complex in nature where judgement and analysis are required in solving problems
Assist with regular production tasks if needed
Continuously improve required skill sets through formal training or through resolving issues while on the job
Qualification
Required
Minimum AA Degree Electronics, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificate from vocational or trade school in computer technology, computer hardware/software maintenance or combination of education and experience
Minimum 6+ years of recent experience supporting and repairing assembly or test equipment
Advanced skills in Microsoft OS, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Must have good manual dexterity for assembling, adjusting, or repairing fine mechanical or electronic parts and using basic hand tools
Preferred
Previous experience with Hard Disk Drive Clean Room Tooling and Test Equipment
Electrical, mechanical and software troubleshooting with emphasis on software log analysis
