Finance Manager, Advertising Finance
Amazon seeks an experienced Finance Manager to join the worldwide Advertising Team as an Ad Sales Finance leader responsible for the Large Customer Sales Acquisition (LCSA) and US Local Sales teams. In this strategic role, you will build scalable finance processes and analytical frameworks while leading business reviews and driving performance improvements across the Sales organization.

Responsibilities
Uphold and enforce an environment of strong financial controllership
Help create, prepare, and present yearly targets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly/weekly financial reports for US Local and LCS Acquisition sales teams
Manage and execute entire projects or components of large projects from start to finish including project management, data gathering and analysis, problem solving, and clear communication of insights and recommendations
Contribute with deep-dive analyses and insights in Quarterly and Monthly Business Reviews
Act as trusted partner to the Sales teams in making optimal business decisions and highlighting critical blockers, risks, and opportunities that impact ability to meet quarterly/annual goals
Drive performance improvements across the Sales organization and build the foundation for it to scale. This will include evaluating revenue optimization opportunities, strategic programs to enhance productivity, process redesign, and financial reporting & analysis
Own communication and explanation of financials to senior Sales, Finance and Business management
Qualification
Required
5+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
5+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
5+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
5+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience
5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
Preferred
5+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
5+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
MBA, or CPA
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
