Responsibilities
Work closely with the Area Controller in order to proactively provide information that will help the plant increase revenue and improve profitability, as well as respond to specific requests from the management team
Perform monthly analysis and reporting of financial performance
Understand and communicate revenue details, product and customer profitability reporting, financial analysis of proposed products, and customers and business models
Provide pricing and sourcing recommendations regarding accounts payable, invoicing, payroll, and general ledger
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting
1-5 years of experience
Strong analytical, communication, and advocacy skills
Strong understanding of accounting principles, theories, concepts, and practices
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Previous experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
Ability to travel 25%
Authorized to work in the U.S
Preferred
Manufacturing experience is a plus
