Responsibilities
Design, maintain, and enhance data warehouse solutions to support Power BI dashboard and report development
Extract, transform, load, and analyze data from Snowflake, Palantir, and other sources for effective visualization and reporting
Optimize data warehouse performance using best practices in data modeling, architecture, and programming
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into scalable BI solutions while supporting self-service analytics initiatives
Maintain data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting, and identify process improvement opportunities to enhance business efficiency
Work with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, operations, data analytics, and program management, to ensure BI solutions align with business objectives
Apply ETL best practices for connecting large data sets from various sources and developing logical and physical data models; create and maintain technical documentation
Prepare and deliver presentations to executive, remote, and unfamiliar audiences, while staying updated with industry trends and best practices in BI, data analytics, and visualization
Ability to obtain US Security Clearance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant data analytics experience
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related data analytics experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related data analytics experience
2+ years experience working with relational database management systems (Oracle)
2+ years experience with Snowflake, Palantir, and/or Alteryx
Ability to obtain US Security Clearance
Preferred
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Experience working across cross-functional teams to influence outcomes
Ability to analyze large datasets, uncover trends, and present data-driven insights
Experience working in an agile environment with data engineering and analytics teams
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehousing best practices
Experience in Aerospace & Defense, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain industries
Experience utilizing SQL for data extraction and database management
Experience with programming languages, such as JavaScript and Python
Experience with full-stack application development
