Responsibilities

Consistently execute sales strategies for Harper Ellis Hair Co. Extensions and Harper Ellis Education within an assigned territory
Travel regularly throughout the region to maintain in-person relationships and ensure market saturation
Meet or exceed goals, metrics, KPI’s
Maintain and grow current Harper Ellis Hair Co customers / salons
Product sales
Education
Report / share territory activities daily /weekly / monthly

Competitors
Needs
Build and foster professional relationships
Salon owners
Stylists
Industry Professionals
Influencers
Facilitate product demonstrations, trainings and presentations as the market needs
Solution focused custom service
Research, identify and prospect potential Harper Ellis Salons
Network - industry events, local business, and influencers
Conduct quarterly reviews and business development meetings
Invite qualified salons to become a Legacy Salon or Strata Portfolio Salon
Follow up with customers based on needs, challenges and growth potential
Partner / coach Strata Portfolio Salons to grow business, implement and inspect policies and procedures
Communicate with in house concierge team, warehouse, marketing and management

Required

Ability to apply structured sales techniques and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets for both products and education
Skilled in organizing, prioritizing, and executing structured visit schedules, including account tiering (A/B/C/D), territory saturation, and market coverage
Competent in using CRM platforms to log activities, update account information, track progress, and generate sales forecasts and reports
Strong understanding of Harper Ellis Hair Co. extensions, tools, and education offerings, with the ability to deliver demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions
Ability to research, identify, and evaluate market opportunities, competitor activity, and salon business potential to drive strategic growth
Basic understanding of profit and loss statements and general business concepts to support discussions with salon owners and identify growth opportunities
Expertise in building and maintaining professional relationships with salon owners, stylists, industry professionals, and influencers to strengthen brand presence
Capable of conducting impactful product demos, business development meetings, and quarterly reviews tailored to salon needs and opportunities
Proficient in analyzing sales metrics, retention rates, and market performance data to adjust strategies and align with company objectives
Proficient in the creation of Standard Operating Procedures
Availability and willingness to work outside of normal company business hours as needed
Ability to travel regularly within assigned territory by car or air as needed
Ability to travel to assigned Harper Ellis trainings
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods during salon visits, events, and trade shows
Must be able to lift, carry, and transport products, training kits, or event materials up to 25 pounds
Frequent use of hands and arms for demonstrations, presentations, and handling products
Comfortable working in salon environments, event venues, and professional settings with varying noise levels and activity
Ability to adjust schedule to include evenings and weekends for events, education sessions, or industry networking

Preferred

Sales experience with a strong record of driving growth, building new accounts, and exceeding goals
Background in the professional salon industry, beauty distribution, or luxury retail
Experience delivering product demonstrations, trainings, or presentations to groups of professionals
Established network within the salon or beauty industry
