Responsibilities

Design and implement an AI-powered summarization feature within the Iron Stallion application ecosystem
Develop a modular, reusable backend summarization service capable of handling multiple data types
Integrate summarization capabilities into frontend applications in collaboration with senior software engineers
Implement context-aware summarization logic, adapting outputs based on user interactions
Work within object-oriented software architecture following established development standards and best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including analysts, operators, and developers to ensure mission relevance
Create technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials to support long-term adoption beyond the internship

Required

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
Coursework or experience in object-oriented programming (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar languages)
Familiarity with software development fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and system design concepts
Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills

Preferred

Exposure to web application development
Exposure to machine learning or artificial intelligence concepts
Prior course or internship work incorporating artificial intelligence features
