Responsibilities

Develop base images for virtual machines (VMs) or containers that include operating systems, software packages, and configurations tailored for specific cloud platforms (e.g., AWS AMIs, Azure VM images, Google Cloud images)

Use tools like Packer, Terraform, or Ansible to automate the creation and deployment of images across environments

Ensure images are lightweight, secure, and compliant with organizational standards

Maintain versioned images, apply patches, and update software to keep images current and reliable

Work closely with teams to ensure images integrate smoothly into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code workflows

Support cross-functional coordination across engineering, cybersecurity, and program management teams

Promote continuous improvement through feedback loops and process refinement

Ensure alignment with USCG mission priorities and Leidos delivery standards
