Sr. Vice President, Global Managed Security Services

Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Growth: Work with Product Management to develop and execute the strategic roadmap for the global security operations function, aligning it with overall business objectives and market demands. Drive organic growth initiatives and successfully integrate security operations from acquired companies, ensuring service continuity and efficiency gains
Operational Excellence & Service Delivery: Oversee 24/7/365 operations across all global teams, ensuring consistent adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality standards for thousands of customers. Implement and refine operational processes to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall service quality
Team Management & Development: Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing, geographically dispersed team of hundreds of security professionals, including SOC managers, security analysts, engineers, incident responders, threat hunters. Foster a high-performance culture of continuous learning, accountability, and professional development
Incident Response & Threat Management: Ensure processes and teams are prepared to monitor and respond to escalations for major security incidents, ensuring the organization is coordinating effective and timely responses to minimize client impact and restore normal operations swiftly
Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Ensure the organization has the correct processes and measurements in place to ensure high levels of satisfaction and proactive communication. Ensure the organization partners with sales and marketing teams supporting business development, review nonstandard deals via a deal desk process, support the integration of new service offerings, and ensure sustained client retention and growth
Technology and Tooling: Evaluate and optimize the tooling used within service delivery for both clients and LevelBlue team members. Identify and document requirements, engaging with cross-functional teams such as Product Management, Engineering, and IT to ensure both current and future needs are met. Consider overall functionality, contractual obligations, and the need to optimize costs across all decisions
Financial & Budget Management: Own the P&L for managed security operations, including budget forecasting, resource allocation, and cost management. Optimize the staffing model and technology investments including Artificial Intelligence Initiatives to drive efficiency and grow profitability
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all operations comply with relevant international laws, regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2, FedRAMP), and industry standards. Support the execution of regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement robust mitigation strategies
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role within security operations or managed security services (MSSP), with at least 5 years managing large, global, multi-site teams
Exceptional strategic planning, crisis management, cross-cultural communication, and leadership skills
Experience driving offshoring initiatives and managing global teams in Europe and Asia
Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and influence change across the organization
Proven experience in integrating operations from mergers and acquisitions, including process alignment, system migration, resourcing optimization, and cultural integration
Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscapes, and technologies, including SIEM, EDR/XDR, threat intelligence platforms, and cloud security solutions
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business Management); a master's degree or industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CPP are highly desirable
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required to global delivery centers and client sites. Expected travel is approximately 20% but may vary from time to time
