Postdoctoral Fellow - Cancer Genomics and Biology

The Postdoctoral Fellow will conduct experiments in cancer genomics and biology, focusing on high-risk leukemia subtypes and collaborating with computational teams to analyze multi-omics data.

Responsibilities
Design and execute experiments to understand the molecular functions of driver genetic lesions in high-risk leukemia subtypes
Perform high-throughput sequencing-based assays to systematically characterize leukemic and normal hematopoietic cells
Interpret multi-omics datasets in close collaboration with computational team members
Use knock-in and xenograft mouse models to study leukemogenesis, clonal evolution, leukemia-niche interactions, and drug responses
Troubleshoot experiments, maintain accurate records of methods and results, and contribute to rigorous and reproducible research practices in the lab
Present results in internal seminars and external conferences and contribute to the writing of manuscripts
Qualification
Required
Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. in a relevant field, for example Biology, Medicine, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Engineering, Immunology, Hematology, Genomics, Bioinformatics, or a closely related discipline
Strong publication record that demonstrates expertise in at least one of the following areas: Hematology, Leukemia or other hematologic malignancies, Cancer genomics, transcriptomics or epigenomics
Hands-on experience with core molecular and cellular biology techniques and standard biochemical assays
Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Preferred
Experience with functional genomics or epigenomics platforms or single-cell technologies (scRNA-seq, scATAC-seq, CyTOF)
Familiarity with analysis of high-throughput sequencing data and interest in learning or applying computational tools for leukemia genomics
Background in classification or biomarker studies, especially for leukemia or other hematologic malignancies
