Market President
Millennium Physician Group is Florida’s largest independent physician group, focused on accelerating market growth and value-based care performance. The North Florida Market President will lead the region's strategy, operations, and clinical network while ensuring a patient-first, physician-focused culture.
Responsibilities
Full P&L ownership for North Florida: build the annual operating plan and deliver financial targets
Lead market growth and M&A activity: identify targets, shape LOIs, guide diligence, and lead integration to capture early synergies
Operationalize scale: implement standardized operating rhythms (KPI dashboards, clinic reviews, QBRs), technology and system integrations to drive efficiency and quality
Drive value-based performance: improve medical margin, utilization and population health outcomes through best practices, coding integrity and care-management programs
Build and retain talent: recruit and develop physicians, APPs and market medical leaders; lead cultural change and high-performing teams
Strengthen local partnerships: deepen relationships with hospitals, payers and community partners to optimize referral pathways and reduce leakage
Stakeholder engagement: align across clinical, finance, HR and IT to foster transparency, innovation and continuous improvement
Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute North Florida market-specific strategic plans, drive business development through organic and acquisition growth, while achieving aggressive growth targets
Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, manage North Florida P&L, and ensure financial targets (like EBITDA, medical margin) are met or exceeded
Operations & Quality: Ensure high-quality clinical care, patient satisfaction, team member satisfaction, and efficient operations across the market
Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite peers, Millennium operational support teams, physicians and advanced providers, and Mosaic leaders
Team Leadership: Mentor, develop, and lead regional and cross-functional teams, fostering a high-performing culture
Market Expertise: Act as the market's subject matter expert, understanding local healthcare dynamics and regulatory environments
In Market: Requires significant time spent "in the field," engaging directly with physicians, practice staff and regional operations leaders
Acquisitions and Integrations: Help drive scalable growth through smart investments in local and regional practice acquisitions
Qualification
Required
Proven leader (5–7+ years) running multi-site primary care or ambulatory networks with full-risk or partial-risk P&L responsibility (ideally $250M+ and 50+ sites)
Demonstrated M&A experience: sourcing, diligencing, closing and integrating provider groups (Est scale: 5–20+ groups or ≥200 clinician FTEs) with measurable synergy capture
Operator and builder: experience creating operating systems, physician engagement models and performance cadence at scale
Value-based care expert: deep understanding of MA, ACO/REACH, DSNP and population health strategies with a record of driving measurable improvement
Data-driven and metric-focused: uses KPIs and analytics to drive decisions and operational improvements
Influential communicator who engages clinicians, executives, payers and community partners; a culture carrier who builds unified teams through change
Willing to reside in or frequently commute to Florida
