Responsibilities

Build and maintain strategic partnerships with large real estate and property management firms to drive participation in PHI’s energy efficiency programs
Engage and collaborate with trade allies and professional organizations to expand program awareness and adoption within the real estate sector
Design and deliver targeted seminars and presentations and represent the program at industry events to enhance visibility and stakeholder engagement
Facilitate ongoing, effective communications with participants and stakeholders to assess needs, gather feedback, and provide timely updates for sustained engagement and program success
Assist program managers in creating and executing promotional strategies that align with program goals and foster growth
Develop and present client-facing status reports documenting performance metrics, activities, contractor/consultant involvement, and progress toward objectives
Support internal program operations by managing reporting, reviewing applications, forecasting, developing marketing materials, and providing client support
Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to optimize program delivery and enhance participant satisfaction
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of program initiatives with client objectives
Apply industry expertise and organizational skills to drive continuous growth and effectiveness of energy efficiency programs, ensuring clients and partners receive outstanding support in achieving sustainability goals
Must have a reliable vehicle for local travel. Requirements are between 40% to 75% of the time. (reimbursement for mileage provided)

Required

Bachelor's degree in (Business Administration, Energy, Communication, Sciences or related fields)(candidates can substitute years of experience for each year of education)
2+ years of experience working with Maryland's commercial real estate marketplace
Must have valid driver's license, an operational vehicle for transportation (or regular access to a vehicle), and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check

Preferred

5+ years of experience managing or selling energy efficiency opportunities, with specific experience in one of the following: HVAC contractors, distributors, commercial real estate, federal government, or retail customers
Ability to explain the principles of energy efficiency and electrification to a wide array of audiences
Ability to analyze an audit report and present recommendations to real estate stakeholders
Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Dynamics, Word, Outlook, Excel)
An energy efficiency background with a solid knowledge of building mechanical systems and commercial lighting
Economic analysis and familiarity with DSM program planning and evaluation
Utility experience and understanding of DSM program implementation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High degree of self-confidence, determination, and motivation to excel
Ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under strict deadlines
Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive priorities without diminished effectiveness
Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
Ability to work with all levels of internal employees, as well as with outside clients and vendors
Superior interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude
Strong adaptability and project prioritization skills
Strong organizational and project management skills to coordinate and implement new ideas and initiatives
