Responsibilities

Proactively identify, prospect, and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, social selling, referrals, and industry events
Develop and execute a territory and account penetration strategy to build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
Conduct discovery with prospects to understand business needs and position company solutions effectively
Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders within target organizations
Deliver tailored presentations, proposals, and solution demonstrations that clearly communicate value
Manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach through contract negotiation and close
Consistently meet or exceed new business revenue, pipeline, and activity targets
Collaborate with internal delivery, recruiting, and leadership teams to align proposed solutions with client requirements
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts within Bullhorn & Technomile
Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities
Manage and grow a portfolio of existing client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for ongoing needs
Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with client stakeholders to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention
Develop a deep understanding of client business goals, challenges, and industry trends to proactively recommend solutions
Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities to expand revenue within assigned accounts
Partner closely with delivery, recruiting, and technical teams to ensure high-quality service and solution delivery
Conduct regular business reviews with clients, presenting performance updates, outcomes, and new opportunities
Resolve client issues quickly and effectively, ensuring a high level of responsiveness and customer care
Track and analyze account performance, providing leadership with accurate forecasts and strategic insights
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create account-specific campaigns and engagement strategies
Stay informed on industry developments and client initiatives to anticipate future needs and strengthen account alignment

Required

Bachelor's degree in a related field
7-12 years of professional experience in Federal IT staffing or Federal Consulting services is required
A strategic and disciplined sales professional with demonstrated success leading the full federal business development lifecycle from opportunity identification and capture through contract award and account growth
A minimum of five to seven years of experience generating, leading, and winning pursuits within federal IT services, preferably supporting the Department of Defense or Federal Civilian markets
Strong understanding of the federal procurement process, including capture planning, RFP development and response, teaming, pricing, and contract negotiation
Proven ability to market and sell agile development, cloud, data analytics, and cybersecurity services to federal clients and system integrators
Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills with a track record of achieving revenue growth and maintaining long-term client satisfaction
Excellent communication and presentation abilities with the capability to convey complex solutions to both technical and executive stakeholders
Proficient in the use of federal data research and capture tools such as GovWin, G2X, HigherGov, Bullhorn, and Technomile, with strong analytical and forecasting skills
Collaborative and self-motivated with the ability to partner effectively across recruiting, delivery, and marketing teams to meet client and organizational goals
Results-oriented with strong organizational skills, accountability, and persistence to achieve high performance
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
